Golf Academy at The Legacy specializes in individual
golf instruction. First time visitors will begin
with an interview about their golf history and their
aspirations for improvement. This one-on-one attention
to detail gives the instructor, the ability to tailor
each student's goals and objectives to their level
of experience and physical ability.
Golf
Academy full swing lessons are always based on
the sound fundamentals of grip, posture, set-up,
and pre-shot routine. The correct start positions
are essential for a dependable, repetitive golf
swing. Video analysis and other training aids
may be used to enhance understanding of the full-swing
principals.
The
Legacy instructors will also focus on short-game
lessons and techniques for those students who
would like to lower their scores in a hurry. Chipping,
pitching, putting, and greenside trouble shots
are approximately 75% of your on-course shots.
Lessons
may also be taken to the golf course where strategies
and mental approaches to the game can be analyzed.
