| Judd
Gibb joins The Legacy staff in 2004 as a Teaching
Professional. His primary duties will be to supervise
and coordinate all golf instruction programs at
The Legacy.
Judd
turned pro in 1992 after graduating from Iowa
State University. He served as ISU Golf Team Captain
in 1992, and led his team into NCAA Regional play
in 1991 & 1992.
Judd
worked as an Assistant Golf Pro and Teaching Pro
at Fort Dodge Country Club in Fort Dodge, Iowa from
1992 to 1998. He also served as Teaching Professional
at Des Moines Golf & Country Club from 1999
through 2003.
Judd
has received numerous awards for his teaching
and playing skills. As an instructor, he was honored
as being Iowa Section P.G.A. Teacher of the Year
in 2003 and 2005. With junior golf being an important
part of his teaching interest, Judd has also been
awarded as a Junior Golf Leader by his professional
peers.
As
a player, he has amassed over 20 Iowa P.G.A. tournament
wins. Among those wins were the 2000 & 2002
Iowa P.G.A. Match Play Championship, the 1998
October Shoot-Out and the Iowa P.G.A. Assistant's
Championship in 1995, 1996 & 1998.
Judd
has earned the Iowa P.G.A. Player of the Year
award five times-in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005 and
2006.
He
can also be heard as a Co-Star of "On the
Tee" on Saturday mornings on 98.3 WOW FM.
